CSA-B granted PAASCU Level II re-accredited status |

 The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) has granted Colegio San Agustin - Bacolod's Arts and Sciences, Elementary, Secondary and Business programs "clean slate" Level II re-accredited status according to a PAASCU report received by the school in May 2012. CSA-B had undergone a formal survey on these programs in December 2011, and the surveyed curricular programs had passed the evaluation with flying colors once again. These programs will retain their Level II re-accredited status for five years until May 2017.
Other programs that are undergoing accreditation include the Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs, which are eligible to apply for a Formal Survey by PAASCU in 2013. Consultancy visits are also scheduled in 2013 for the Medical Technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology programs.
Colegio San agustin - Bacolod would like to acknowledge and commend the whole-hearted efforts of the academic heads, faculty and students of the aforementioned programs. Congratulations to all!

 The College of Accountancy, Business Education and Computer Studies has partnered with FastTrack IT Academy in order to integrate SAP Business One into its various curricular programs. This program prepares students to become highly-qualified graduates who contribute to the core competencies of their future employers by having them engage in technology, simulating integrated business processes and developing strategic thinking.
SAP (Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing) promotes innovation in the academe's curricula where the typical learning experience is enhanced through useful hands-on experience that makes use of the world's most-utilized and well-recognized Enterprise Resource Planning software, SAP Business One. |

 The College of Accountancy, Business Education and Computer Studies is set to offer a program in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Banking during the 1st Semester of SY 2012-2013. The new program is CSA-B's response to the banking industry's concerns regarding the competence and work attitudes of applicants for the various positions in the banking sector. The industry notes the seeming unpreparedness of the majority of new graduates for the job they apply for, making it difficult to select from the pool of applicants. The banks spend much time, effort and resources in re-training those selected to bring them up to par. |
